Hello! I illustrated a children’s book recently that accompanies a fairy house for Dreamland Fairy. Illustrating this book was quite an accomplishment for me, since I was freelancing, working part time at a very demanding AD agency, and most importantly caring for my 9 months old twins. It was all the more rewarding to get such nice reviews. So go to the website.
Hello world. Thank you for all that purchased the calendars! IT does mean alot to me that we are raising some money that will be sent to American Red Cross for the people of Philippines who have been affected by the Typhoon Yolanda. There is ONE MORE calendar left in Etsy. Not only is it going to a good cause, but you are getting some decent art for your wall. 🙂
I’m excited to say Street Glitter Gallery in Fishtown Philadelphia will be selling my 2014 Calendar which ALL proceeds will go to the Typhoon Yolanda victims in the Philippines. Street Glitter Gallery was kind enough have the calendars in their gallery for anyone to purchase. So if you’re in the Philadelphia area, stop by and purchase to what will go to a great cause and plus see other beautiful art in the gallery. Say hello to Casey and Tami!
Albeit small, I created and selling a 6×6 calendar of 12 illustrations of my work. ALL proceeds will go to REDCROSS for the Typhoon Yolanda innocent victims in the Philippines. I’m asking for $11.00 each, it comes along with a 4×6 card (see image) plus $2.00 shipping. Of course, if you want to donate more, that is more than welcome, it is going to a much needed cause. The Philippines is my birth country, so this is very close to my heart. My mind is on the parents that are now childless and the children that are now parentless and for the wounded who are slowly losing their life because they have no aid while other who have more pressing injuries to be taken cared of first. As many of you know, many provinces in the Philippines have been struck by Typhoon Yolanda, many are homeless, many who lost their loved ones. Send me a private message here if you are interested and I promise you that your donation will go directly to REDCROSS and plus you’ll get some decent art along with it. Or you can donate on your own. If I ask for anything, this is it. Please Donate to a non-government organization that can aid these victims directly. Nothing is too small, these people will continue to need help. It will, in my heart, hope to help the wounded, the homeless, the hungry and thirsty, and help the lost find their way back to their family and home and more importantly the lost children will remain with their relatives. Thank you.
Please go to my etsy shop to purchase. I will keep everyone updated of how much we have put together to help the filipino people.
My husband and I had a gallery show of our photography work and it was also the grand opening of 320 Gallery in Philadelphia. We were honored to be asked to show our work, it was a nice turn out on First Friday in Spring of last year.
Aside working on my own art, I also work in an advertising firm. Our team were very excited to have won 2 golds, 4 silvers, and abundance of bronze at the Lehigh Valley Addy Awards last year. We couldn’t be happier… well maybe to win ALL GOLD next time.
Flying Dutchman World Championship was held in the United States last year in 2012. I was asked to design their materials (posters, programs, and t-shirts, as well as their plaques). There were teams arriving from all over the world and I was thrilled to introduce my designs for them. It was held in California and they wanted a retro theme, showcasing the fun and history of the state. Check out some of my designs at the week long regatta.
Montgomery Theatre needed some posters for their upcoming plays and here is one that I designed for Bad Dates that ran this past February. I was very happy how this turned out, I always adored the retro look. There are a couple more that I created—Stay Tuned!
